Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation was honoured to host the ๐…๐ข๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐‚๐ž๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ข๐šโ€“๐„๐” ๐ˆ๐๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง โ€œ๐‚๐Ž๐Œ๐๐€๐“๐ˆ๐๐† ๐Œ๐€๐‘๐ˆ๐๐„ ๐๐‹๐€๐’๐“๐ˆ๐‚ ๐๐Ž๐‹๐‹๐”๐“๐ˆ๐Ž๐โ€ย  on 10 December 2025 in Bhubaneswar.

The Ideathon was organised by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to India, under the ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ข๐šโ€“๐„๐” ๐“๐ซ๐š๐๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐“๐ž๐œ๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐‚๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐œ๐ข๐ฅ (๐“๐“๐‚) ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐  ๐†๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ 2. The event brought together innovators, researchers, startups, industry stakeholders, and jury members. Participants and jury members joined both physically and virtually, reflecting the wide engagement this initiative has generated.

The event included the presence of: Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, Office of PSA; Ms. Signe Ratso, Deputy Director-General, DG RTD, European Commission; Dr. Rakesh Kaur, Adviser/Scientist โ€˜Gโ€™, Office of PSA; Ms. Nienke Buisman, Head โ€“ International Cooperation Unit, DG RTD; and Dr. Hafsa Ahmad, Scientist โ€˜Dโ€™, Office of PSA.

The shortlisted teams presented well-defined solutions across the three challenge tracks:

๐Ÿ”น Developing effective and scalable removal technologies
๐Ÿ”น Raising awareness and mobilising communities for prevention
All ideas were evaluated by jury panels comprising experts from both India and Europe, ensuring a well-rounded and collaborative assessment process.
