๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐โ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ง ๐จ๐ง โ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โย on 10 December 2025 in Bhubaneswar.
The Ideathon was organised by the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, in collaboration with the Delegation of the European Union to India, under the ๐๐ง๐๐ข๐โ๐๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ก๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ฒ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ข๐ฅ (๐๐๐) ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ 2. The event brought together innovators, researchers, startups, industry stakeholders, and jury members. Participants and jury members joined both physically and virtually, reflecting the wide engagement this initiative has generated.
The event included the presence of: Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, Office of PSA; Ms. Signe Ratso, Deputy Director-General, DG RTD, European Commission; Dr. Rakesh Kaur, Adviser/Scientist โGโ, Office of PSA; Ms. Nienke Buisman, Head โ International Cooperation Unit, DG RTD; and Dr. Hafsa Ahmad, Scientist โDโ, Office of PSA.
The shortlisted teams presented well-defined solutions across the three challenge tracks:

๐น Developing effective and scalable removal technologies
๐น Raising awareness and mobilising communities for prevention
All ideas were evaluated by jury panels comprising experts from both India and Europe, ensuring a well-rounded and collaborative assessment process.
