The American Chemical Society (ACS) is a global leader in advancing chemical sciences, and its chapters serve as vital regional hubs connecting local talent to a worldwide scientific community. The establishment of this chapter reflects a strong commitment to strengthening scientific excellence, innovation, and leadership across East and Northeast India. The programme was held in the presence of Prof. Ayan Datta (IACS Kolkata), Prof. Moloy Sarkar (NISER Bhubaneswar), and Prof. Mrutyunjay Suar, PhD, and featured sessions by Dr T Pavan Kumar Kumar on Intellectual Property and Dr. Aanchal Katoch, PhD on Science Communication.
