The BCKIC Foundation hosted the CSR Conclave, themed “Advancing Social Impact through Technology Deployment.” Over 100 participants, including CSR leaders, startups, and incubator authorities, engaged in collaborative discussions. More than 20 startups showcased their innovative solutions across various sectors. The event featured CSR leaders from esteemed organizations like Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Bayer Foundation, India Health Fund, Sattva Consulting, JSW Foundation, and more. Their active participation highlighted the potential of collaboration in driving sustainable social impact through “Affordable, Adaptable, and Scalable solutions.”

World Entrepreneurs Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by BCKIC Foundation in collaboration with FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter through an event called “Spark-O-Thon”. This event was aimed at fostering innovation and entrepreneurship among students, showcasing the inventive potential of the next generation. The event featured motivational talks by mentors from the startup ecosystem, an Idea Pitching Competition, and an interactive Entrepreneurship Quiz. The celebrations extended across schools and colleges in Bhubaneswar, bringing together over 10 prominent institutions including CIPET, BGU, KIIT, KIIT International School, KISS, Bose Polytechnic, DAV Public School, SAI International School, ODM Public School, and ODM Global School.
Outstanding ideas will receive product development support from FICCI FLO and KIIT-TBI, along with personalized mentorship to help innovators bring their ideas to life. Selected innovators will receive pro-bono incubation and mentoring for one year at KIIT-TBI, providing them with access to government funding opportunities and fellowships. Additionally, innovators will have access to the prototyping and fabrication facility.

Odisha’s emergence as a biotech hub was prominently featured at Mega Global Bio India 2023, with the BCKIC Foundation proudly serving as the esteemed knowledge partner. The Odisha state delegation, led by Hon’ble Cabinet Minister Shri Ashok Chandra Panda and Principal Secretary Smt. Chithra Arumugam, highlighted the region’s impressive biotech capabilities. Ten promising startups from Odisha, representing diverse sectors within biotechnology, played a pivotal role in this showcase. The presence of KIIT-TBI and DBT ILS Bio incubator further enriched the presentation, demonstrating the depth of innovation within the state. The event was marked by the launch of two pivotal documents of national importance:- The “National Nitrogen Policy” was unveiled by UKRI-GCRF South Asia Nitrogen Hub, New Delhi
- “Compendium of Deployable Technologies” was released by KIIT TBI.
