BCKIC, through its flagship program, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR)-FAME (Facilitation, Assistance, and Mentorship for Entrepreneurs) aims to provide holistic Intellectual Property Rights support to start-ups and individuals with a mission to nurture innovation. BCKIC Foundation under its initiative conducted 12 workshops. Through awareness programs, the distant educational institutions of the state of Odisha, North East and Jammu and Kashmir Union territory were reached. BCKIC Foundation in collaboration with KIIT TBI Centre of Excellence has also organized several workshops on 3D modeling, 3DPrinting & IPR for school students at various centers in the State of Odisha.

To achieve its objectives, BCKIC Foundation also joined hands with the Science and Technology Department, Government of Odisha, and implemented an IPR awareness and facilitation program for the year 2023. The action plan comprised a set of five awareness sessions, two training programs, one open discussion, and four patent application facilitation. Through these five awareness programs, the distant educational institutions of the state of Odisha were reached. These sessions were designed to familiarize the participants with the terminologies and the basic concept of Intellectual property. A good number of faculty members and research scholars attended these sessions along with the students. Following these sessions, a two-day training program on patents was designed and organized with advanced course material, and a series of lectures and practice modules were delivered.
