The session highlighted how CRISPR/Cas9-based genetic engineering, liver-stage malaria biology, and translational research are driving the development of next-generation whole-parasite malaria vaccines. Participants also gained valuable insights into the journey of translating cutting-edge research into potential real-world healthcare solutions.
