Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation was glad to be part and presented its Health sector initiatives/programs in an engaging “Inter-Cluster Meet” focused on Health & MedTech, co-hosted by Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH) and Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC), and held in the presence of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India, Dr.Vishal Choudhary and team.
The presentations reflected the diversity and depth of health-focused initiatives across S&T clusters. These included seed funding for early-stage innovations, AI-driven research, and the development of collaborative networks connecting academia, industry, and research institutions. Clusters highlighted efforts around BioE3 cells, precision medicine, and AMR-focused projects, along with public health databases, real-time dashboards, and initiatives rooted in the One Health approach. Digital health solutions, national and international knowledge-sharing platforms, and active technology deployment were also featured. Support for startups through mentoring and infrastructure, pharma–academia linkages, industry-integrated PhD programs, medtech innovation facilities, and early-career researcher support further underscored the comprehensive approach. Additionally, several clusters are actively organizing national and international workshops, symposiums, and conclaves to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. Many are also engaged in policy and consultancy efforts—strengthening the translational pathway from research to societal impact.
The session sparked meaningful dialogue around shared challenges and collaborative opportunities. All clusters expressed strong interest in learning from each other and exploring joint initiatives that can scale impact and deliver better health outcomes.
