About the Initiative

The Smart Village Livelihood & Socio-Economic Development Programme is an integrated rural transformation initiative designed to strengthen livelihoods, healthcare access, green skilling, and community resilience in the industrially impacted rural regions of Jharsuguda district, Odisha.

The project combines technology-enabled solutions with community participation to address key development challenges related to agriculture productivity, preventive healthcare, and youth unemployment.

Implemented in Sripura Panchayat, the programme serves as both an impact-driven intervention and a field-based diagnostic platform to identify scalable CSR opportunities for long-term rural development.

About the Initiative

BCKIC, in partnership with Epsilon Carbon, is implementing a Smart Village model in Sripura Panchayat, Jharsuguda, to address rural livelihood challenges through integrated interventions in agriculture, health, and skilling.
