About the Initiative

BCKIC, in partnership with NALCO, is implementing a technology-enabled school health program to address anemia and malnutrition among children in Odisha. The initiative focuses on early detection, digital health tracking, and strengthening referral systems for improved child health outcomes.

  • 50,000 children (6–18 years) to be screened
  • 100–150 schools covered
  • Focus districts: Koraput, Ganjam, Angul
  • Non-invasive hemoglobin screening
  • BMI-based growth monitoring
