Celebrating Success: UK-India HealthTech Accelerator Programme 2026
A major milestone from the UK-India HealthTech Accelerator Programme 2026 β a collaboration between the UK Government’s Department for Business & Trade (DBT) India and Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster (BCKIC), designed to help high-potential HealthTech and MedTech start-ups scale into the UK market.
π Stage 1 saw 25 promising MedTech start-ups selected for a fully funded, 3-day immersive accelerator programme in India.
π Stage 2 narrows the list to 6 outstanding start-ups from Cohort 4, now awarded for a fully funded UK-NHS Immersion Programme in presence of Harjinder Kang, His Majesty’s Trade Commissioner for South Asia & British Deputy High Commissioner for Western India, and Chandru Iyer, His Majestyβs Deputy Trade Commissioner for Investment in South Asia & British Deputy High Commissioner to Karnataka. During the immersion, the selected start-ups will explore strategic partnerships, market linkages, investment opportunities, and clinical trial support in the UK.
