Highlights fromMSME-StartupTrade Fair 2024

Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation, in collaboration with KIIT-Technology Business Incubator (KIIT-TBI), proudly organized the “MSME-Startup Trade Fair 2024,” with support from the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Government of India.

The fair was inaugurated by Hon’ble Minister of F&ARD, MSME, Govt. of Odisha, Shri Gokulananda Mallik, in the esteemed presence of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS, Shri Pawan K Gupta, Joint Director, MSME-DI Cuttack, Prof. Nalinaksh S. Vyas, Emeritus Fellow, IIT Kanpur, and Dr. Krishna Kanth Pulicherla, Scientist E, DST, GoI.

💡 Key Highlights:
🔹 60 startups from across India showcased market-ready, innovative products.
🔹 12 product launches added to the excitement.
🔹 A special Pitching for Investment session empowered startups with growth plans.

The Trade Fair, brought together MSMEs, startups, policymakers, industry leaders, investors, and academicians. As a hub for MSMEs and innovation, Odisha takes pride in hosting this dynamic platform to foster business growth, partnerships, and investment opportunities.

📅 Day 2:
The “National Seminar on Boosting Exports from MSMEs” was hosted by BCKIC and organized by MSME-DFO, Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India, Cuttack. The seminar delved into strategies to expand MSMEs’ access to national and global markets.

📅 Day 3:
We were honored to have Ms. Katja Lasch, Director of @DAAD Regional Office New Delhi/DWIH New Delhi, present on “Enhancing SME Innovation and Technology Cooperation: Indo-German Perspectives.” The session explored avenues for collaboration between India and Germany to drive technological growth and innovation in the SME sector.
