The Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation hosted the “2nd All S&T Clusters Meet 2024” on “November 25-26,” bringing together all eight of India’s S&T clusters.
The event celebrated “25 years of the Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India,” honoring Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam’s visionary leadership, and featured the “Technology Compendium” release, showcasing cluster-driven innovations.

🔹 Dr (Mrs.) Parvinder Maini, Scientific Secretary, Office of the Principal Scientific Adviser (PSA) to the Government of India emphasized the significance of translational research in driving economic growth, fostering resource-sharing among academia, and advancing directed research initiatives.
🔹 Prof. Ajay K. Sood, Principal Scientific Adviser to the Government of India highlighted the power of Interdisciplinarity, InterCluster collaboration, and solving real-world challenges through the clusterapproach.
🔹 Presentations from all eight S&T Clusters—DRIIV: Delhi Research Implementation and Innovation, Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad (RICH), BeST – Bengaluru Science and Technology Cluster, Pune Knowledge Cluster (PKC) , Jodhpur City Knowledge and Innovation Foundation (JCKIF), PI-RAHI: Northern Region S&T Cluster, Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone Limited (AMTZ) – Vizag, and Bhubaneswar City Knowledge Innovation Cluster Foundation (BCKIC)—sparked discussions on inter-cluster synergies to tackle India’s pressing challenges.
🔹 The “ATL Science Fair” as a part of the “Catch Them Young Program” showcased 100+ innovative projects from 30 schools across Odisha’s districts by 200 students.
A special session with industryassociates, CSRheads, and localauthorities, including JSW Group, MAGNUM SEA FOODS LIMITED, The World Bank, Aditya Birla Group, TiE Bhubaneswar, and @Science & Technology Department Government of Odisha, focused on strengthening industry-cluster partnerships.
